Bay of Naples

Sorrento sit atop cliffs directly across the bay from Naples. Although only a ninety minute ride away on the Circumvesuviana train route circling the bay. Sorrento is a world apart from Naples hustle and bustle. The town's centre of cobbled streets stretches for a kilometer westwards and half a kilometer northwards from Piazza Tasso with its ring of terrace cafes.
The above image was taken from the terrace of the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori overlooking the bay at twilight.
