Austrian Church

Austrian Church.

The church had existed here from the 14th century, in the years from 1500 to 1510 the small church was enlarged, before being destroyed by fire between 1580 to 1590. The green tower on the Mayrhofen church, whose colour symbolises its belonging to the Diocese of Salzburg, is the oldest part that remains. The inside of the church is elaborately decorated, as are most of the churches in Austria.
